“The New York Times ” has published a previously unseen image of the attack
on the south tower of the World Trade Center (WTC) on 11 September 2001.
Taken from a video shot by Pavel Hlava, a Czech immigrant, you can see the
United Airlines Boeing 767 just before the impact. Appearing in the centre
of the fuselage is a shadow like the ones produced by the two engines. “La
Vanguardia ” published two news reports in June and July drawing attention
to shadows such as the one to be seen in this video. An analysis carried
out by the Escuela Universitaria Politécnica in Mataró concluded
that the shadows "could not be caused by the angle of incidence of the sun
on the plane (...). The objects detected have varying luminosity around them
because they are in relief. This is the only possible explanation.” Boeing,
citing security reasons, have not wished to comment whether there was anything
attached to the fuselage. The US Administration guards the same silence.
